The night before
- Clear the surfaces. Toys, mail, laundry and dishes off the floors, counters and tables. Cleaners can clean around clutter, but every minute spent moving things is a minute not spent cleaning.
- Put away valuables and anything fragile, like jewellery, cash, documents and heirlooms.
- Load the dishwasher or stack the dishes so the sink and counters can be cleaned properly.
- Leave the beds free if you want fresh sheets on. Put the clean set on top.
Access, parking and pets
- Decide how we get in. Most customers aren't home: a lockbox, a door code or a key left with a neighbour all work. Put it in your booking notes.
- Mention parking if it's tricky, like a strata visitor spot, a permit zone or a steep driveway.
- Tell us about pets. Our cleaners are comfortable around dogs and cats. Let us know who lives there and which doors or gates have to stay shut.
- Mention alarms and any rooms you don't want entered.
Tell us what matters most
Every home has a room that matters most, whether that's the kitchen before a family dinner or the guest bathroom before visitors. When you book, pick your focus areas and add notes. Our cleaners read them before they start.
If your home needs more work than usual, say so when you book (for example after a renovation, a long gap between cleans, or a pet accident). Our prices are for a normal, lived-in home. If it needs more time, our cleaners will tell you the extra time and cost before doing it, and you decide.
What you can skip
- Buying supplies. We bring every product and all the equipment. If you prefer a particular product or have a sensitivity, leave it out and tell us.
- Pre-cleaning. Tidying helps. Scrubbing before the cleaners come is doing their job.
- Staying home. We'll message you when we're done.
After the clean
Walk through when you get home. If anything was missed, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and fix it for free. That's our promise on every booking.

Should I clean before the cleaners come?
Tidy, don't clean. Clearing floors, counters and tables lets the cleaners spend their time cleaning instead of moving your things.
